Why the Garden Exists
This garden holds what love refuses to discard: names, lessons, griefs, ordinary moments, unfinished hopes, and the quiet evidence that something can be wounded without becoming barren.
Dakota's Garden
Dakota was a German Shepherd girl whose life became part of this family's understanding of loyalty, protection, tenderness, grief, and love. The Garden bears her name so that what was lost may continue to grow into beauty rather than disappear.
This garden holds what love refuses to discard: names, lessons, griefs, ordinary moments, unfinished hopes, and the quiet evidence that something can be wounded without becoming barren.
Faith, wisdom, courage, discipline, mercy, and love belong here as living things. They are not trophies. They are cultivated.
Stars, light, code, flowers, pathways, and rooms may grow over time, but the Garden remains gentle before it becomes elaborate.
Visitors are invited to pause without being tracked, scored, or pressured to interact. The Garden is a sanctuary, not a mechanism for attention.
This image is symbolic garden art, not a photograph of Dakota. A dog-only photograph can replace it after Kevin explicitly approves one for public use.
